Who can use ProMedNet

You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission. Use your real name and describe your training and credentials accurately.

Your account

Keep access to your email account secure, since sign-in links are sent there. You are responsible for activity on your account.

Community rules

• Never share protected health information, patient photos, or details that could identify a patient.
• Do not harass, threaten, or discriminate against anyone.
• Do not impersonate others or misrepresent a license or credential.
• Do not post spam, advertising, or misleading health claims.
• Follow every host, school, and hospital policy during shadowing.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules or put people at risk.

Not medical advice

Discussions on ProMedNet are for education and career development. They are not medical advice and are not a substitute for guidance from a care team.

Shadowing and hospital pathways

Hosts and hospitals decide who they accept and set their own requirements. ProMedNet helps you apply and schedule but does not guarantee placements or hours.

Your content

You own what you post. You give ProMedNet permission to store and display it so the service works, for as long as it stays on ProMedNet.
